Luxury in the Wilderness (Opened in 1992)
Literally
hewed out of the bush and built over a period of three years,
Guardian Eagle’s impressive $2 million two story hand-crafted
log lodge and private cabins would turn heads anywhere, but
especially in the remote wilderness of the northwestern Ontario,
near Sioux Lookout.
Guardian Eagle Resort has the ability to house over 50 guests,
but restricts the number to 30, giving everyone more than enough
elbow room.
With eight spacious, private, individually-designed log
cabins, you’ll find all the comforts of home –
complete with kitchen and living areas, fireplace/stove, separate
bedrooms and full bathrooms, along with daily maid service.
In addition, Cabin 4 is handicap accessible.
There’s
no crowding of cabins here. Each cabin has a different design,
with its own shoreline and private porch. The view of the
lake is picture-perfect from every cabin, providing spectacular
sunrises and sunsets. In the evening you are welcome to share
the fire-pit and deck which extends out over the lake beside
cabin 1, or the fire-pit and deck over looking the beach by
the sauna. The best view might well be from the hot-tub
on the deck of the sauna building.
